Good Morning!

It is good...to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night. -Psalm 92:1-2

A prayer from British preacher and writer John Stott-

"Good morning, heavenly Father. Good morning, Lord Jesus. Good morning, Holy Spirit." "Father, I pray that I may live this day in Your presence and please You more and more. Lord Jesus, I pray that this day I may take up my cross and follow You. Holy Spirit, I pray this day You will fill me with Yourself and cause Your fruit to ripen in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Holy, blessed and glorious Trinity, three Persons in one God, have mercy upon me. Amen."

Many times I use this prayer as a pattern for my prayer life. It is a wonderful way to begin a conversation with God.

As we all pray today, let us praise God for Karen Newcomer's good report from the doctor, our ministry leaders @The Well, Brent and his family, our mission field and those empty chairs at church we are praying to be filled.

God bless,
Libby
